Molopo Energy's Canadian projects are located in Quebec and the Williston Basin.
The acquisition of our Williston Basin interests in 2008/2009 expanded our Canadian project's position by approximately 310,000 acres bringing the total acreage position to approximately 2.2 million acres. 100 km of 2D Seismic was acquired in 2008 and a further 200km of 2D Seismic acquired post June 2009 on three leads within the acreage (Richelieu, Lyster and Pintendre) with the first two exploration wells expected to be drilled in the first half of the financial year 2009/10. Excellent results continue to emanate from other players in the region.
